Sundays I take my son to my small group meeting, where he usually gets to meet up with one of the other member's daughters, who's also eight. She takes dance classes, and this Sunday, she was trying to get Jordan to slow dance. Jordan, of course, has no real experience that hasn't been on the goofy side, so his dancing looks a little more like that Brazilian martial arts dancing [insert name of that Brazilian martial arts dancing when I think of it].
I was able to at least get him set up in the right position. Next, the box step. I figure if he's going to be a lady's man, he needs to dance.

Stay At Home Work At Home Dad. Sometimes I don't like to do either, but it's the life we've had and whether or not it's worked isn't the question. The question is: where's the other soccer sock? Why is the toothpaste gone? Where did you *leave* your sunglasses? These and many other queries will be repeated through the years till at last we discover the answers.

The name is Capoeira and it has an interesting history, back to slaving in Brazil...Your son will be just fine, she'll teach him everything, this is the way things go, isn't it?;)
I work from home as well. The opportunity to be a stay at home parent is truly a blessing. Enjoy every moment of it.
Capoeira is beautiful. Of course your son will be all right. And he'll learn to understand a different concept for dance, and this is always useful.
