I used to keep a blog for my son, from the time before he was born until he was two. It was at bobfarley.com/jordan, still is. Why did I stop at two? At the time we were thinking of starting a whole daycare thing with him. I was going to find an out of the house job, and life was to have continued. However, things didn't work out that way. A week after starting daycare, Jordan got the mother of all colds, the worst he'd ever had. Never went back to daycare.
Now, it's two and half years later. Jordan must get out of the house. Needs friends his own age. And we've got'em.
The solution was karate class. He's starting his third week, I think, and he's loving the classes, enjoying being with the other kids, and I can't be more proud of my little boy.
Prekindergarten starts in August at a private Christian school, and by then, Jordan will know how to join in and be quote unquote normal. And me, too.
